Stephanie's trip will focus on being servants at the Olympics in London. In a city where most people don’t attend church and atheism is more and more common, they will join a mission to share Christ in a fresh and unique way.
This summer more than 3,000 teams will unite and reach out to Olympic attendees from the U.K. and all over the world, They will serve water at games venues, entertain kids with face painting and balloon sculpting, put on torch relays at local community festivals. She will also have the unique opportunity to reach out to members of many different cultures and nations all in one location, while performing skits and dramas for hundreds. Share the hope of the gospel in London, England and tell the world Christ loves all people in every nation!
Stephanie will be a part of a group of young people, all 18 or older, ready for a more difficult trip than some. This group will be working in the poorest areas, assisting full time missionaries already there. They will help during food and clothing distributions, and also assist in a children's ministry project.
During the holiday season, Stephanie will live out her faith in a practical way. Feeding the homeless in soup kitchens, volunteering at shelters and visit people living in poverty. Through service projects, community outreaches and sharing her testimony, she can show New Orleans God cares for them.
